He knows that Pere sails boats and talks about it a lot. My dad is getting the chance to start sailing again since he moved to Nigeria (mom will join him in the end of May), he grew up doing it and that is what him and mom did for dates. But took a LONG hiatus to raise his 5 kids (Timothy is the last to be off daddy's meal ticket in May!) We are excited he is getting the chance to do it again and are trying to talk him into buying a boat in retirement to take his kids and grandkids on! :)
