We have had a few days where it was in the low 30's thus my garden (the awesome one my MIL did for me while in the hospital) was looking pretty dead. Yesterday I ripped out the begonias and cut back a few perennials, but the daylilies although they had yellow leaves still had a few buds. The past few days we have had a warm snap (beautiful 70 degree weather), so I decided to leave them... and what do you know this morning they bloomed! Who has daylilies in November? CRAZY!
