Christmas is BIG with Pats family!
It was the year of the dog at the Smits house, we had four dogs to go along with the minimum of 11 people (topping out at about 25 on Christmas day) in the house. The boys had a love hate relationship with them (most of you know my relationship with dogs in general:)), but did really like Aunt Meghan's boyfriends poodle that was there, I think having a dog smaller than you must be a good feeling for the kids instead of having the dog stare you (or lick you) in the eyes. We are glad to be home and dog free :)
28 weeks... sadly this is only my second belly shot.... yes I did them monthly with Will. Such is life!
Pats grandfather came and spent Christmas with us. We were very glad as he lost Grandma Marcy a few weeks before. She was a very sweet lady that the boys really loved spending time with over the past few years.
They have a tradition of reading Polar Express on Christmas eve after church.
I made my boys matching PJ pans for Christmas this year. Pat can't really buy PJ pans that are long enough at the store. I made his first pair in high school, a pair for him an some of his teammates in college and haven't made any since so he requested them this year.
After the boys went to bed a fun game of Apples to Apples began.

The PJ pants are great!
Also, please pass along my compliments to Pat--his belly shot is hilarious--especially his facial expression!
