I headed to New Orleans for my cousin Jaimie's wedding. The doctor told me to take it easy this trip, to which my husband emphatically said "your family doesn't know how to take it easy" :) On this trip of 4 days I had a luncheon, shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding, birthday party, and day and night birthday celebration I participated in :) There wasn't much down time. But hey, I made it through 18 days, 9 states, and lots of activity without my water breaking so it was a success!
Above is Jaime and Alyson at a luncheon for Jaime.
My mom, aunts, and grandmother gave her this luncheon at the newly built yacht club that Katrina took out. My grandparents have been members here for years, I have MANY memories as a small child running around this place in the summer time... how it looks now is WAY different than the old yacht club. (pictured is my mom with all her daughters and daughter-in-laws).
Stephanie turned 40 December 5th. We surprised her with a day out of shopping, eating and staying downtown. We planned to go to a nice dinner but our lunch was huge and we were all so tired after walking around that we were in our PJ's quite early at the hotel. It was the first time we have had a sisters day/event/anything with just all 5 of us, it was fun! (above is shopping on Magazine street in cute little overpriced shops :) and then below was the next morning when we had to get dressed for a family shower).
My mom turned 60 on New Years Eve. So my dad wanted as many of her kids and grand kids that he could get there for her party as possibly. Everyone but the Paris boys were there. Pat flew in for 30 hours with the boys :) The cousins had a great time as usual and Will kept saying how it wasn't long enough and how he misses his cousins.
