UltraSound #11.... AND 12!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was my scheduled weekly ultrasound. They wheeled me down to my docs office (connected to hospital), it was a fun one for my mom compared to last week because we got to see the babies face more and the lady was a lot nicer than last week! :)

She measured the baby at only 3lbs 7oz.... two weeks before at my doctors office (the day before my water broke) they measured the baby the same. Once we got back to my room the doctor came in and told me she was having the specialist (the same one I saw a few months ago when the Femur first measured small) come and do a high tech ultrasound to make sure the babies blood flow was good and to and to give her opinion. SOOOOO... about two hours later they rolled an ultrasound machine into my room again! The tech did all the measurement and used the Doppler to measure blood flow in the cord and brain. They took all their information back to their office and the doctor came back in a 6 last night (at this point it was Pat, Will and I having movie night again).

The specialist (high risk) said the baby looks great, blood flow looked great, and she measured the baby at 4lbs 11oz (always +- 8 oz). She said the discrepancy could just be on how the baby was lying during the ultrasounds, plus doing ultrasounds this late in the pregnancy isn't as "accurate" because the baby is getting so big!
Can you see the baies face on this one?

This is a side view of a leg/andkle/foot...

Needless to say it was a roller coaster of a day!

I had my friend Chris buy a baby book for me and I got it yesterday. There is a page in there for your "ultrasound picture"... my mom and I had a good laugh about what that page could look like in this baby's book!
